The Vertical Ray of the Sun Movie Review 2000

Slow-moving visual treat set in Hanoi. Three sisters plan a commemorative meal in honor of the anniversary of their mother's death. The two eldest sisters have marital problems and the youngest is so close to their brother that many believe the twosome are sexually involved. Over the course of a month (which ends with the anniversary of their father's death), the women deal with their emotional entanglements. Vietnamese with subtites.
