Documentary about Irish boxer Francis Barrett. Barrett is a "Traveller," or gypsy. Travellers gather in "caravans" (mobile homes) and live in what appears to be extreme poverty. According to the film, they're also discriminated against by the rest of society and so Barrett's training and rise through the ranks is a story that has innate appeal. He's an attractive, knockabout protagonist, too. His accent and several others are so thick that the filmmakers provide yellow subtitles. The film may be a bit of a hard sell to audiences looking for typical Hollywood fare, but it's a solid sports film.
