Long-unavailable Philippine film from the early 1960s is a throwback to the propaganda that Hollywood produced during WWII. This one features sadistic buck-toothed Japanese soldiers. The protagonists are American POWs and Philippine guerrillas who are setting the stage for MacArthur's return. Director Romero would go on to a busy career in horror and other genres.
