Lemonade Joe Movie Review 1964

The Czech New Wave does a broad spoof of the American western complete with good guys in white hats, bad guys in black hats, and a saloon gal with a heart of gold. Doug Badman (Kopecky) runs the Trigger Whiskey Saloon, along with his hotsie singer Tornado Lou (Fialova). The hard-drinking bar flies harass sweet temperance worker Winifred (Schoberova) until clean-living soft drink salesman Lemonade Joe (Fiala) shows up to save the day. Czech with subtitles.
