Sandra Bernhard: I'm Still Here...Damn It Movie Review 1999

Document of Bernhard's stand-up comedy tour, captured for an hour-long HBO special. It's an incredible performance, combining sharp observational humor with songs. The show at times seems almost improvised; Bernhard delivers a free-flowing performance full of energy, letting loose jokes and random creative observations left and right. When it's not hilarious, it's highly watchable. Bernhard's intensity and energetic performance style leaves you constantly wondering just what she's going to say next.
