Someone must have lied at the 1991 comfirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas (Lindo) and this cable drama takes a look at playing hardball politics. Lobbyist Kenneth Duberstein (Patinkin) is assigned by the Bush White House to get Thomas appointed. But he doesn't anticipate the testimony of Anita Hill (Taylor) and her claims that her former boss sexually harassed her. Based on the nonfiction account by Jane Mayer and Jill Abramson.
