Revenge drama pits Ah-nuld against the Columbian terrorists whose actions caused the death of his wife and child. When investigators come up short, nothing-left-to-lose fireman Gordy Brewer (Schwarzenegger) takes matters into his own hands and sets out to catch "The Wolf," the rebel leader of Columbia's civil war and the one responsible for his family's demise. In Columbia, he meets Selena (Neri) and her son Mauro (Posey) and his instinct to protect and serve them kicks into action, giving him renewed purpose. Highlights are Leguizamo as Felix, the Columbian drug producer, and Turturro as an exiled Canadian working as a mechanic. Mexico subs for Columbia in this unbelievable and formulaic actioner for genre and Arnold fans only.
