A Matter of Taste Movie Review 2000

Waiter Nicolas (Lorit) is hired by eccentric multimillionaire Frederic (Giraudeau) to be his food tester since he claims to have several allergies. Nicolas can't turn down the absurd salary he's offered, although it soons becomes clear that Frederic is manipulative and even sadistic. The film is told in flashbacks with the opening finding Nicolas in a prison cell--you can probably guess who his victim was. French with subtitles.
