Madeline at the North Pole Movie Review 2000

Three episodes from the "Madeline" animated television show, based on the popular children's tales by Ludwig Bemelmans. In the first, Madeline and her friends visit the North Pole, where Madeline dazzles everyone (including Santa Claus) with her culinary skills. The second episode finds Santa too portly to slide down chimneys, so Madeline must assist him. "Madeline and the Ice Skates" is a "bonus" episode, in which Madeline receives a pair of skates for her birthday, and can't wait to try them out. Fans of Madeline, and most younger children for that matter, should love these short and sweet segments. Madeline's enthusiasm is infectious and each show teaches a subtle lesson.
