On the surface, this is a story about some twentysomething women who are bad at relationships and can't pay the rent. To solve one of their problems they turn their apartment into a bookie joint. However, underneath there is the story of the girl who has just lost her mother and needs money to pay for her funeral. The thread that weaves it all together is the drive to survive and rise above what life has given you, or sometimes what you give yourself. This is an indie, low-budget film and the acting and lighting reflect its limitations, but overall it is a good story with competent acting.
