On the Borderline Movie Review 2001

On their way to California with their new baby, Luke (Mabius) and Nicole (Shelton) find themselves short of funds in a border town. She takes work as a waitress while he becomes involved with transporting Mexican aliens. Curious little road thriller actually works pretty well. The leads and a solid supporting cast handle the material well. Some scenes are curiously tinted to disguise the less-than-lavish production values.
