An infectious disease expert (Hurt) loses his family to an unknown disease. Now some years later at an "infectious disease laboratory" in a vaguely defined Russia, disgruntled security guard Muller (Weller) has been infected with a deadly pathogen, where one drop of his blood will now kill a person in matter of seconds. The disease expert is called in to investigate and teams up with an American reporter, as Muller is determined to get home to see his wife and son, even if it means infecting the entire Russian population. TV movie dull beyond belief. Peter Weller getting to do an eccentric Olivier-like turn as the Russian-accented, bald Muller is the only fun in the whole film.
