Unsuccessful parody of the recent proliferation of bad teen movies and the better John Hughes films of the '80s. Teen moviedom's stereotypes are hammed up to the extreme, from the bitchy teenager to the dumb jock, nerdy beauty-in-waiting and fat guy for comic relief. Which is okay if you like really obvious, unoriginal humor. Film's self-awareness is sometimes amusing but more often sinks to the level of what it's supposed to be satirizing, and of course, there's enough bodily-function and base sexual jokes to fill three Tom Green flicks. If there was ever a genre begging to be parodied, it's teen movies, but this entry flunks. Entertaining cameos by Molly Ringwald and John Vernon, though.
