Heart Movie Review 1999

Gruesome wannable thriller (told in flashback) finds Gary Ellis (Eccleston) suffering a jealousy-induced heart attack after discovering wife Tess's (Hardie) philandering with Alex (Ifans). Gary gets a heart transplant--the donor being a young man killed in a motorcycle accident--and contacts the man's mother, Maria Ann (Reeves) after he gets out of the hospital. Too bad she's crazy.
