Lush Movie Review 2001

The New Orleans setting is the best thing about this limp drama. Alcoholic golf pro Lionel Exley (Scott) is friends with alcoholic lawyer Carter (Harris), who names his buddy his beneficiary in an insurance policy. The lawyer promptly gets murdered and Exley decides to go on the lam from the suspicious cops, winding up taking refuge with two upper-crusty sisters Ahley (Holloman) and Rachel (Linney).
