Stylish, fun remake of the 1960 Rat Pack caper flick measures up to the original in Cool Factor and surpasses it in plot and action. In this version, Danny Ocean (Clooney) is an ex-con with a taste for the grift and a grudge against powerful casino owner Benedict (Garcia). Backed by an eclectic, amusingly quirky crew, he encounters complications when his ex (Roberts) turns out to be involved with Benedict. Great cast looks like they're having a blast (especially Gould and Reiner, who make the most of small but showy roles) as Soderburgh's "Midas touch" streak continues.
