Maybe Baby Movie Review 1999

Sam (Laurie) and Lucy (Richardson) Bell are a happily married couple trying to have a baby. She's a talent agent and he works for the BBC. Dissatisfied at work, Sam tries his hand at scriptwriting and decides his subject will be a comic look at the couple's infertility problems. Naturally, he keeps this a secret from Lucy, although she finds out when his script is accepted and walks out on Sam. Tends towards the smug and the leads don't particularly click as a couple, which makes the supporting players the most interesting to watch onscreen.
