Sweet Rosalba (Maglietta) is a much-neglected wife and mother who is accidentally left behind at a rest stop while the family is on vacation. Impulsively, Rosalba doesn't go home but hitches a ride to Venice, a city she has always longed to see. Although, she dutifully lets her husband Mimmo (Catania) know where she is, she delays her return, is befriened by waiter Fernando (Ganz), and finds a job working for a florist. Rosalba's idyll doesn't last as her loyalties pull her back to her old life but events don't work out as expected. Italian with subtitles.
