Insipid romance featuring Bass and Fatone from the teenybopper group 'N Sync. Kevin (Bass) meets Abbey (Chriqui), the girl of his dreams, on a train in Chicago. How does he know she's the one for him? Well, they can both name all the presidents in order and they both like the Cubs. Gee! Ain't that sweet? Unfortunately, Kevin is too shy to ask for her number, and he lets her slip away. He laments to his friends Rod (Fatone), Eric (GQ) and Randy (Bulliard) and they decide to help him find her by posting flyers all over town. A local reporter (Montgomery) picks up the story and a gaggle of girls claiming to be "The L Girl" respond. Further plot contrivances keep the two apart. Love wins out in the end, however, much to the delight of squealing 12-year-old girls everywhere.
