Baise Moi Movie Review 2000

French porn dressed up for the arthouse crowd had critics spinning like tops to justify not calling the film what it is--exploitative trash, even if it is done by women. After Manu (Anderson) gets gang raped, she kills her boyfriend, steals his money, and hooks up with prostitute Nadine (Bach) to go on a sex and murder spree. Very, very graphic sex and violence and the literal translation of the French title is not "rape" but another four-letter word beginning with "f." Based on the novel by co-writer/director Despentes; French with subtitles.
