Uneven horror entry that slips from mocking trite slasher flicks to becoming a trite slasher flick itself. Trish (Phillips) and her brother Darry (Long) are driving home from college during spring break when they're almost run down by a dilapidated cargo hauler. Further on down the abandoned desolate road, they see the driver of the van dumping what looks to be squirming human bodies into a drain pipe near a creepy church. They turn around to see if anyone needs help. Well, no one needs help, but a horror movie needs victims and they've just volunteered. The storyline then degrades into demonic, prophecy-laden voodoo nonsense while trying to keep its tongue firmly in cheek. Creature effects and make-up take over in no time.
