Seducing Maarya Movie Review 1999

Maarya is an East Indian/Canadian working in a Montreal restaurant. She agrees to an arranged marriage with the restaurant owner's son, even though he's gay, and then begins a romance with the sixtysomething dad. No one seems too concerned by the situation until Maarya's violent brother turns up, exposing a family secret, and Maarya announces her pregnancy. Melodramatic.
