Me You Them Movie Review 2000

Hard-working Darlene (Case) returns to her dusty Brazilian village with a young son (and no husband) upon the death of her mother. She marries elderly Osias (Duarte) basically because he has a new house and has another son, whose father is probably not Osias. Then Osias's younger cousin Zezinho (Garcia) moves in and takes over household management while Darlene works in the fields. Yep, there's another baby. Finally, Darlene meets younger Ciro (Vasconcelos), a migrant worker, and invites him to stay around. You can guess what happens next. There's a little squabbling but soon everyone settles into a big, contented family. Portuguese with subtitles.
