Red Dirt Movie Review 1999

Teenaged cousins Griffith (Montgomery) and Emily (Palladino) spent their days lazying around their Mississippi town, sometimes in the company of their crazy Aunt Summer (Black). That is until the older Lee (Goggins) rents a cottage from the family and Griffith has some confused reactions to the newcomer, much to Emily's dismay. Unfortunately, this coming of age story is tritely told with laborious performances.
