Echoes Movie Review 1988

Shopkeeper's daughter Clare O'Brien (Garahy) and doctor's son David Power (Hines) both want to escape from their 1950s Irish seaside town. They meet again at university in Dublin where their friendship turns to romance but their return home comes complete with family troubles and differing dreams. Based on the novel by Maeve Binchy.
