Trial by Media Movie Review 2000

Lyssa Dent Hughes (Lahti) is a prominent D.C. doctor (and senator's daughter) who has been nominated to become surgeon general. But thanks to media scrutiny, and some careless remarks, she becomes a target and her nomination is in jeopardy. Wasserstein scripted from her 1997 play "American Daughter."
