Twelve-year-old Danny has just moved to a new town where he discovers that because of a town curse no one is allowed to celebrate Halloween. So Danny teams up with his recently departed Uncle Fred (Lloyd) to drive away the prankster ghouls who have been causing all the mischief. Based on a story by R.L. Stine.
