Taxi to Timbuktu Movie Review 1994

Tells the plight of villagers from Batama, in the poorest region of Mali, as they seek employment "abroad" in cities such as Tokyo and New York. As time goes on, they are finding it increasingly harder to obtain work outside the village and fear that all may be lost.
