Documentary of Sara Bartman, a young Khoi San woman who was taken from South Africa and exhibited around Europe as a representation of savage sexuality and racial inferiority. During 1814 she was taken to France to be a subject of scientific and medical research that became the basis for ideas regarding black female sexuality.
