Loving Jezebel Movie Review 1999

If anything, writer/director Kwyn Bader's "Loving Jezebel" proves that Hill Harper ("The Skulls," "In Too Deep," etc.) is a terrific talent. The problem is, even at a mere 88 minutes, Bader's film seems long and even Harper can't act his way out of a weak and contrived script. The gist of the story is that he, Hill Harper, has a track record for falling in love with his friends' and other men's girlfriends--the theme of many a sit-com--with consistently bad results. Of course you have to give Harper credit for one thing, he has excellent taste in women as all of his "girlfriends" are "eye-candy" super models.
