Dame Edna's Neighbourhood Watch 2 Movie Review 1992

Australian-born Barry Humphries has struck a cultural gold mine in England with his "Dame Edna's Neighbourhood Watch." It's a simple television show in which "he" (dressed in outrageous drag outfits) selects three members of the studio audience (with his "Purple Possum Picker"--a strand of gladiolas) to participate in a quiz where the contestants can win "fabulous" prizes. The catch is, one of the "random" picks has had her house ransacked by Dame Edna's minions and is in for 20 minutes of public embarrassment and verbal jibs at the hands of the devilish witty cross-dressing queen.
