Mother Wore Tights Movie Review 1947

Colorful nostalgic musical stars Grable as married turn-of-the-century vaudevillian Myrtle McKinley Burt, who leaves the stage to raise her two daughters. Once they're grown, Myrtle decides to rejoin husband Frank (Dailey) in the theatre again, thus embarassing daughter Iris (Freeman) who's at a snotty finishing school. Of course, Iris learns what's really important in life.
