If mutant Muppets took over the starship Enterprise, the result might be "Farscape," exceptionally well-produced science-fiction aimed squarely at fans. The creators wisely limit their scope and don't try to do too much with too little. In some episodes, such as "Back and Back and Back to the Future," that can lead to a slight sense of claustrophobia with a few characters who do not leave a few sets. But in "Thank God It's Friday...Again" things open up to include a city and surrounding countryside. In both, the writing is sharp, intelligent, and funny.
