Horatio Hornblower: The Adventure Continues Movie Review 2001

The adventures of young British naval officer Hornblower (Gruffud) continue with two linked stories: "Mutiny" and "The Retribution." Horatio recounts to his mentor, Captain Pellew (Lindsay), the reasons for his imprisonment on mutiny charges after confining his insane captain (Warner) to his quarters to prevent his sending the crew into a suicidal battle. But Hornblower must also lead a force to recapture an enemy fort. Based on C.S. Forrester's novel, "Lieutenant Hornblower."
