The Waiting Time Movie Review 1999

Post-Cold War thriller based on the novel by Gerald Seymour. Tracy Barnes (Turner) is a corporal in the British Intelligence Corps who makes a seemingly unprovoked attack on German politician Dieter Krause (Becker). Befriended by solicitor's clerk Joshua Mantle (Thaw), the duo travel to Berlin to make sense of things but Joshua finds himself involved in the decade-old murder of Tracy's German lover and with the dreaded East German secret police.
