Silent Shakespeare Movie Review 2000

These very early films are of historical value. A prologue admits that the disc was created from damaged original elements. In fact, some of them are little more than individual scenes or snippets that are a few minutes long. But every generation has its interpretations of the Bard, and these are lively, if nothing else. Damage and wear are extensive in some; very light in others.
