Roadracers Movie Review 1994

Made as part of Showtime's "Rebel Highway" series, Rodriguez basically takes the title from the 1959 AIP low-budgeter and goes his own way. Leather-clad rebel Dude Delaney (Arquette) has a voluptuous Latino dreamgirl named Donna (Hayek) and a gang which faces off against the clique led by rival Teddy Leather (Wiles) in drag races and roller rinks all around town. Great rockabilly soundtrack.
