Disappearing Acts Movie Review 2000

Zora Banks (Lathan) is a college-educated music teacher with dreams of becoming a singer. She meets high school dropout Franklin (Snipes), who's doing construction work and wants to become a contractor. Neither wants a relationship but opposites still attract and they get involved. But not without trouble. Based on the 1989 novel by Terry McMillan.
