The Journey of Jared Price Movie Review 2000

Sweet-natured but predictable gay coming of age tale. 19-year-old Jared (Spears) leaves Georgia for California and self-discovery, winding up in a youth hostel where he's befriended by Robert (Jacobson), who wants to be more than buddies. Jared eventually gets a job as a caretaker to elderly, blind Mrs. Haines (Craigg) and is soon pulled into a destructive relationship with the older Matthew (Tyler), Mrs. Haines son.
