The Girl on the Bridge Movie Review 1998

An unconventional romance that finds middle-aged professional knife-thrower Gabor (Auteuil) calmly engaging in conversation with suicidal Adele (Paradis), the titular character. After a young lifetime of perpetual bad luck, what could be better for Adele than to risk everything every night by becoming Gabor's new partner. The duo seem to have a telepathic communication that makes them a great success but luck has a way of changing. Great chemistry between the world-weary Auteuil and the gamine Paradis that is all the more apparent because their characters maintain a hands-off relationship. French with subtitles.
