November Moon Movie Review 1985

On the eve of WWII, Jewish November Messing (Osburg) flees Germany for what she hopes will be safety in Paris. She meets Ferial (Millet) and the two become lovers, but Ferial must hide November when the Nazis occupy the city. Ferial also decides to take a position on a Nazi-run newspaper in order to gather information and protect them both. German with subtitles.
