Peril Movie Review 2000

Out-of-control plot dooms this women-in-peril saga. Terry (Fairchild) and her semi-disabled hubby Scott (James) are facing financial ruin but have one chance to save themselves. Unfortunately, Scott falls and gets trapped in a storm drain and when Terry goes for help, she gets captured by an escaped mental patient (Pare) who uses her as a hostage against the cops. Oh, and the water is rising in the storm drain, so Scott's gonna drown unless Terry can get free. Very dumb.
