Anyone old enough to remember the British music invasion of the mid-1960s will likely be profoundly depressed by this public television special taped at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. The years have taken their toll on these rock 'n' roll survivors (Gerry and the Pacemakers, Eric Burdon, Herman's Hermits, etc.) and they plow through the familiar songs so stolidly that younger viewers will wonder how they ever became hits.
