Recently divorced and realizing that he is in the last third of his life, Richard Roe decides to take a trip around the world. His son, filmmaker Chris Roe, sees the trip as a chance to have an all-expense-paid documentary shoot. Richard agrees to take his son along and they decide the subject of the documentary will be interviews with fathers and sons all over the world about their relationships with each other. The result is a remarkable journey into the meaning of love and devotion. Along the way, Chris and Richard define and refine their relationship, breaking apart and coming back together stronger than ever. A fantastic documentary for fathers and sons, and the women who have to put up with them.
