Stale and contrived remake of the 1968 film stars Theron as a kooky, carefree boho looking to rehabilitate uptight businessmen one month at a time, until her inevitable demise from a mysterious illness. Nelson Moss (Reeves) is Mr. November, who is invited to live with Sara in exchange for losing his cell phone, monkeysuit, and too-tense attitude for a day at the beach (literally). As the November holiday looms and Sara's secret is sappily revealed, we can give thanks that the movie is almost over. Improbable story with decent performance by Theron, while Reeves's is less so, shocking no one.
