Testosterone-driven comedy has three buddies' bond threatened by ball-breaking fiancee of one of the boys. Peet is the whip-wielding control freak Judith Snodgrass-Fessbeggler, out to tame Neil Diamond-loving loser Darren (Biggs) and despised by best buds Wayne (Zahn) and J.D. (Black). The boys scheme to break up the duo by kidnaping Judith and re-acquainting Darren with his first love, now an aspiring nun. Black and Zahn provide much-needed comic relief, as do the scenes with their Diamond cover band. However, over-the-top characters and sophomoric humor mixed with increasingly gross gags ultimately not so much save but sink "Silverman."
