Straight out of Compton Movie Review 1999

Stereotype-riddled saga of a tough Compton local, Henry "Hen" Alabaster, and his plan to score some big time cash and start his own record company. He targets a racist politician named Drake Norelli who's made a fortune laundering mob money. The whole thing seems to want to deliver the meaningful message that "you can't escape your past," but it's lost amidst a mess of cliches and offensive stereotypes.
