Kings in Grass Castles Movie Review 1997

Aussie miniseries based on the memoirs of Dame Mary Durack and her immigrant family who leave famine-stricken Ireland in the 1850s for Australia. After dealing with an eight-year indenture, the family become Queensland cattle barons, lose everything, and struggle to rebuild, all the while dealing with more prejudice from the British colonials.
