The availability of more affordable computer-generated effects has made it possible for cheap exploitation to be much more ambitious. Here, with a nearly non-existent budget, the filmmakers are able to create cartoon-like shots of a digital ocean liner. The alleged plot has to do with a vampire (Parks) who is hidden in the hold of said ship, and her nubile young prey (Krause). Filling out the running time are supporting characters (who could be refugees from a weekend cable-TV horror show) who tell bad jokes.
