Talk can be cheap, but it's also what sustains the relationships in the lives of a group of gay friends in this chatty, likable film set in West Hollywood. Despite their mostly superficial (sex) conversations, the boys suspect there's more to life, and aim, hesitantly, to move beyond this dead-end topic. Witty and confident in his characters, writer/director Berlanti (co-creator of "Dawson's Creek") has put together a film about gay men that thankfully moves beyond the staleness of many of its predecessors. Good cast with notable performances by Cain (Superman in TV's "Lois and Clark") and Mahoney as the fatherly proprietor of the Broken Hearts restaurant.
